Join us for the inaugural Big Heart Move-A-Thon on Saturday, July 11, 2026 — a fun, family-friendly community fundraiser in support of resident recreation at Markhaven Home for Seniors.
Whether you complete the full route, stroll part of the way, or push a loved one alongside you, this event is all about moving together for a meaningful cause. Residents, families, staff, friends, and community members of all ages are invited to participate at their own pace.
The morning will begin at Markhaven with a community route through the Parkway Avenue neighbourhood, followed by a BBQ lunch, music, fundraising awards, and plenty of community spirit back at the home.
🎟 Registration is $30 and includes BBQ lunch.
👕 Raise a minimum of $100 individually by June 15 and earn your official event shirt free.
