Markhaven Foundation

The Markhaven Foundation is the fundraising arm of Markhaven Home for Seniors. Established in 1999, the Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds to further the objectives of Markhaven Home for Seniors. Markhaven has been caring for the elderly in Markham and surrounding communities for over 60 years, 1960-2021.

Funds raised: All proceeds directly benefit our Markhaven residents. This year, proceeds will go to an Automated External Defibrillator, 4k Home Theatre Projector for our residents, Nursing equipment, and Resident Recreation Supplies.

We are excited to announce that Teresa Kruze will once again be our MC!

Broadcaster Teresa Kruze is a journalist, best-selling author, actress and international speaker. Along with her pioneering work at TSN where she became one of Canada’s first female sportscasters, she has also worked at CP24, CityTV, YesTV, and 680News. Kruze is an active volunteer with many charities including the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness. We are thrilled to have Teresa with us!
